Red, White, and Stood Up

In case you missed it Friday night and can't wait for Sunday night's replay, here's the Mayoral "Debate" on PBS's "Red White & Blue" show. Turns out Gene didn't show up, even though he was invited and had agreed to show up. Maybe he was resting up, because the next day, he had over a hundred tweets thanking people for following him on Twitter, and the all-important puck dropping at an Aeros game the next evening.

And just to make that appearance even more bizzare, Locke suggests that Annise was ducking the Aeros game! Granted, the attendance Friday night was 5,672 and that probably topped the viewership of PBS's show by about five thousand or so. But kudos to the candidate who spent the time doing something that actually communicated what they would do as mayor. Well ... ya know what ... I guess they both really did that. So for the sake of clarification: kudos to Annise, specifically.
