2009 Election Map: MJ Khan

MJ did reasonably well in his own district: 49%. But he also did well in Kingwood & Clear Lake. And he didn't do too badly in the Anglo Dem stretch of the city, either. Mathematically, he's in a strong position. I underestimated his ceiling in the first round, but I don't think he should be underestimated for the runoff. He's proven that some Dems are willing to vote for him and he's not exactly toxic to Republicans in this contest. If he writes a big check for himself, he can easily capitalize on that. If not, I think the outcome on 12/12 is anyone's guess.

I'd rather he have a residence in Houston.

I'm sure Piney Point Village needs a good Controller, though.

I can see that Mr. M J Khan is an educated and intelligent person, but I can't think of the great thing that he did as Margarett Smith indicated.

The only thing I remember of Mr. M J Khan is that about two years ago I bumped into him in a hall way. When I saw him, I recognized him and wanted to say Hi! to him. But he flatly ignored and passed by me without even giving me a short smile. I was a kind of taken aback because that was not the person that I saw on TV.

To, that isnot the sign of a great person.
