Where Does Khalid Khan Live?
Just to keep tabs on my own City Council District, I'll introduce Khalid (KA) Khan first.
Kuff highlights two issues with Khan's campaign finance reports. One being that the guy has filed his report under the provision allowed only when you raise less than $20k. Problem being that Khan reports $34k raised. In and of itself, that might be a minor technical glitch. But Khan has also dropped six mailers throughout the district. Nowhere on his report is there an expense of postage or mailing. As one who has dropped political mail in the past, here's how this works: No shop on earth will hand mail over to the post office without having the check for postage first. They might work with you on payment for the printing and labor if they really really like you. But mail shops don't kid when it comes to postage. It's a sure bet that Khan has written the check for those mailings and has simply violated campaign finance law by not reporting it.
Some rough math would suggest the following 6 mailers X 20,000 households = 120,000 pieces at between .50 and 1.00 per piece. Split the difference if you want, but I'll go ahead and call it a $60,000 expense unreported.
Now ... all that aside for the moment, there's another issue. Namely, the guy doesn't live in the district. To be sure, he's registered to vote in the district and he appears to be abiding by the letter of the law on this matter. But it's a relevant question for voters in District F whether they feel someone who doesn't even really reside in the city of Houston should serve them on council. We've had this issue before, and our current member of council, MJ Khan is among the now-long line of representatives of F that put their head down at night someone other than District F.
Quickie legend: purple is District F. The black dot is the residency that Khalid Khan is renting for the sake of registering to vote in the district. The green marker is where he really lives and claims a homestead exemption. His wife is still registered to vote there as of today. Links in the info bubbles of the map.

Has anyone noticed that Khalid Khan lists several achievements, including life-time achievement award from the PAAGH? Nowhere does he spell out what PAAGH is. It is the Pakistani-American Association of Grater Houston. The man has no experience, and nothing wothwhile except with this body. I understand also, that KK only has a high-school diploma. Just the kind of representative we need for District F!
Getting a Law degree or achieving a Phd. Status is not a license to kill. United States constitution has given a level playing field. This leverage is given to test your political wisdom which only comes with experience and by the passage of
time.
I believe, a couple of them have a leadership quality and experience, among the candidates running for the spot for City Councilman district “F” and Khalid Khan is one of them. I am sure most of the readers here, will be amazed to learn that Khalid Khan is skipper of the community of approximately, eighty to hundred thousand people. WOW!
Thank you, Mr. Reed to highlight PAAGH, a Pakistani community organization who is the strongest supporter and ally of the United States of America on the International front, they have lost thousands of lives to safeguard our American interest.

To answer my mathematician friend, who has thrown in some numbers to show his capabilities and the knowledge of adding, subtracting and multiplication the second grader equations, has a very narrow approach to the corporate world. His assumption of KK not getting credit for mailing demonstrates, he is in the wrong team who is NOT credit worthy to obtain this kind of credit and support, extended by other corporations.
Regarding the residential issue raised by some painters is a funny subject. I think people who know Khalid are aware of his ware bouts. He has literally grown on Gulfton St. and breaded on Hillcroft. Maintaining and renting multiple properties is his and any law abiding citizen’s legal right, like Mr. Khan.
"literally grown" and "breaded" ... wow!
Amazing, isn’t it?
You have to take a walk with him on the streets of district F to get a feel on his popularity.
