Damn, I leave the office for lunch and someone lets this happen?

I'd be lying if I proclaimed some deep appreciation for any of the Sunday talkshow hosts (or pretty much 97.5% of the folks in political journalism), but there is this point that I can offer:

The Buffalo native got his start in New York politics, working for then-senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan and then-governor Mario Cuomo.

One of the operating theories I go by is that anyone who had the benefit of ever working for Pat Moynihan is automatically 100 times cooler than mere mortals such as you or I. I've had the pleasure of working with one such person in my career. That job still ranks pretty highly on my ranking of intellectual heavens to work with/for.
