55-45

Depending on how it settles (85% of the vote in now), it's essentially a 55-45 Hillary win in PA tonight. To echo Gergen: "solid, but not spectacular." It's truly just about the worst possible outcome - neither enough to convince those of us who still prefer Hillary to hang it up and call it quits ... and not enough to erase any doubts that Barack Obama will have some serious problems in key states come November.

Watching Obama give his leapfrog speech in Indiana now. Not to dog the guy, but either his style is just grating on me over the course of the campaign, or this is not quite him at his best. Got better as it went on, though. So maybe it's just the three guys behind him in Abercrombie & Fitch shirts that bugs me.

Hillary's? Decent and on par with anything else she's done. Definitely had a gracious vibe to it. Surprisingly, not one CNN commentator mentioned the possibility of new pollster Geoff Garin being a cause of that, although Mark Penn's departure and Hillary's tone were topics of conversation.

The math and map on the election is interesting ... as it usually is with me. The Philly suburbs are splitting: Bucks & Montgomery for Hill; Deleware & Chester for Obama. Philly county goes to Obama big - 65-35. And the bulk of the rest of the state? ... the long tail of political beancounting? ... resoundingly pro-Hillary. Not the least of which is the home of Dunder-Mifflin.

All in all, the race goes on.
