Official Statement from State Rep. Borris Miles
Rep. Borris L Miles disagrees with the reported accounts of this alleged event. We are unaware of any investigation by the Harris County District Attorney's Office.
At the request of counsel, there will be no further comments on this matter. In the meantime and in light of this being a new year, Rep Miles continues to handle the business of his district which remains his utmost priority.

See you got your talking points.
This was just an invention of the RightWing Media, right? Thank God he didn't do anything terrible, like go to the country for the weekend.
What, you mean Al Edwards wasn't already taking my talking points from washed up 80s metal guitarists?
I am new (returning after 12 yrs) to the district...been gone for years and now back due to family issues. What is the bottom line as to what Mr. Miles, my representative, stands for? When I left Al Edwards was Representative, now I hear he got voted out but had done a pretty good job for years. I want to know what has changed and what can we expect from our new Representative?
I saw him on tv Saturday...and I heard he shot someone burgarizing his property? Why is he having so many "streety" run ins? The article in the Chronicle was awful too. Please advise and will this be our only candidate of choice for the next election?
Susan
It's a little known fact that Satriani lost his first election for school board before Surfing with the alien. All the great ones lose their first race.
Hmmm, Ron Wilson plays guitar. I think I see where this is heading.
