Writing Project Update

Well, for the two or three people who care out there, I should note that I'm in writing hell these days. It essentially feels as if I've assigned myself to write three whole books when a mere pamphlet might suffice. The bulk of the writing ... behind me. It's the editing that I loathe. And that's about where I'm at these days.

So my massive writing project is a bit delayed by that as well as a shorter-than-expected respite from work. The horizon looks iffy, still. Big arcade game expo in town this coming weekend. Trinity v Permian on the radio Saturday. And - a good point for the day - Amazon finally drops off my bounty. The entire Taylor Branch trilogy on the Civil Rights movement, plus Francis Collins' "The Language of God." So in addition to everything else, I now have a few thousand pages of reading to work through this coming month. And this month's book of choice ... an audiobook that I've already read about three times in the past two years via the dead tree version.

Seriously now, who do I have to petition for a few extra hours in the day?
