Weekend Tunage: Norah & Tori

My piano fix all combined into two videos here. I'll confess to being a fan of Tori Amos' back in her early years. Bought the first two CDs, plus another bonus CD to get a recorded version of "Smells Like Teen Spirit." I can't claim to being a fan of her later work, though. Maybe I just need music like that in small doses. But I also happened to catch her first Houston concert - at what is now a Hollywood Video near Montrose. Easily one of the best live performances I've witnessed. So what turned me off afterwards? Dunno ... the fact that I couldn't decipher her lyrics was a part of it, though.

Norah, I suppose, is where I pick up this musical infatuation, however. I could randomly pick a tune that exemplifies what it is that I love about her. But how can I pass up a video like her singing an ode to the letter Y to Elmo? C'mon ... what's not to love?
