Irregular PSA to Debunk the Myth of a Liberal Media: Colorado Edition

Yeah, work is slamming. But this was good enough of a morsel to break free for some blogging. Seems like the Denver Post (they of the evil, liberal media) are real miffed over something that Gov. Ritter did. What could it be? Well, the guy signed an executive order allowing state employees to join a labor union. And for that, it earned a front-page editorial. Apparently, all signs indicate that it was penned by the owner of the paper, Dean Singleton.

Three issues I take from this:

1. Liberal media? Ha! ... yet again, at that.

2. Is it now - finally - so glaringly obvious that media ownership DOES matter in the debate on media bias, that it no longer be debated as to whether it's a factor?

3. Unsigned editorials ... we're way past the time that those need to go away.

The editorial is just absolutely insane in it's language. On anything close to a substantive level, it's worth pointing out that while the editorial is titled, "A Colorado Promise Broken," the author fails to identify a single promise that was broken. But hey ... who's gonna say no to the owner?
