I'm not sure why Slate entitled this as the worst product placement ... quite frankly, I think it's a great sale of the DVD for people like me. Think I know what I'll be getting myself for my next birthday ...

That's the whole point - the video turned you on to this strange trainwreck of a movie. If you see the whole film, you will see HOW MUCH Coca-Cola, Skittles, Sears and McDonalds stuff there is the film and back in 1988 - product placement wasn't yet done that much. The host of the videos knows his stuff - his first three Kiddie flicks were jaw-dropping and I can't wait for the enxt series they do one bad cinema.
