Construction delays at an Acres Homes school have prompted state Rep. Sylvester Turner to pull his support of the $805 million bond issue that HISD is putting on the Nov. 6 ballot.
Umm ... Sylvester Turner has not ever been on record as a supporter of the HISD bond referendum. So why does the Chronicle refer to him "pulling" support that was never there to begin with?

I think the paper headline for this article did not say "pull". It was something more like "does not support".
I saw your post, and remembered when I saw an old paper a day or two later.
