"Liberal" Media: Filibuster Edition

Let's revisit yet again this canard of the media being overrun by liberal activists who seek to do only good for Democrats and ill for Republicans, shall we? After all, it's been a while.

Josh notes three items coming out of the Republican filibuster for stay the course ... a McClatchy report quoting a Mitch McConnell aid extensively detailing why the filibuster isn't a filibuster; an AP report that refuses to identify the Republican filibuster as such, but goes on to identify the Democratic filibusters of judicial appointments four years prior; and lastly ... Diane Sawyer stating that Harry Reid "vows to filibuster" on Iraq.

Secondly, Atrios notes CNN referring to the Republican filibuster as "staged by Democrats."

That's a lot of hits on the Republican fantasy of a liberal media for just one day.
