Faith & Politics on The Early Show

Not a bad story here from the Early Show on the combination of faith & politics as it plays out these days. Beyond my own interest in the topic, this clip has the added benefit of one-time blogger Amy Sullivan getting some face time in it. She's since moved on to Time magazine, to which I offer an official bloggy "Congrats." Not sure if this qualifies as her first written work for the new job, but it's at least a good overview of her unique beat. Her book, The Party Faithful, comes out in February and you can bet I'll be camping out at Barnes & Noble on a sunny Houston February morning to get my copy.

There's only so much that can be crammed into a 5-minute news segment, but the overview here is as good as I've seen. Pastor Joel Hunter's coverage here is also worth pointing out.
