1983, Take Two

A followup note from yesterday's music-related post. Today is Ronnie James Dio's birthday. And while there's always been a bit of confusion over Ronnie's actual birth year (he's been performing since lounge acts were the in thing), it now seems unquestioned that as of today, Ronnie James Dio is old enough to collect Social Security.

Long live the king, indeed!

I'd love to celebrate the moment with some quality footage of either Ronnie jousting with a plastic dragon on stage or maybe dig up some vintage Elf videos, but it's hard to top video of Dio, Deep Purple (Steve Morse era), & the London Symphony doing a cover of The Beatles' "Love is All You Need." Think I'm kidding?

What's that? ... still want some classic Dio? Fine.
