Crime in the Vice Machine
Funny, I thought it was KHOU that always stayed on top of Houston crime numbers. But lo and behold, here's a headline you won't find there or among the plethora of local Republican bloggers who feign the occasional interest in crime ... when it suits their agenda, at least:
Good news to report about violent crime in Houston
Courtesy of the locals at ABC ...
Oh, KHOU did run a handful of interesting news reports over the past few days, though. There's a brilliant expose on filthy nail salons, Eva Longoria got married, some sorta problem with eyelash extensions (not sure I wanna know), Burger King switching to trans-fat-free oil, a woman in DFW found a roach in her food at a Bennigans, and there was a car chase in California. Way to keep it real, KHOU!!!

"feign the occasional interest in crime"
Dowhatnow? What city do you live in?
Sorry, I must have temporarily forgot the taboo against questioning the extent of the miracle Bill White has achieved in transforming this little known railroad town into an urban utopia.
Keep me in check Gregg.
"questioning the extent of the miracle Bill White has achieved in transforming this little known railroad town into an urban utopia"
That's a rather euphemistic phrase for slapping up a photo of an albino rat.
