State of Mine

A lot of big-headed bloggers (present company definitely excluded) have ego-driven notions that what they do is on par with any other journalistic enterprise. Here we see a major distinction. When journalists give money to politicians, it is a scandal. When bloggers give money to politicians, no one thinks twice about it, because no one expects them to have professional ethics. When BOR or Kos or Kuff publish and adhere to a set of professional ethical standards as comprehensive as what we see in the San Antonio Express-News, only then can they reasonably start pretending they are journalists.
