Friday Ten Tunage

With the help of MyStrands, here's the last 10 to roll off of my WinAmp. Just to one-up Kuff, the program will allow me to do a Top 10 after I get more use out of it. For now:

Individually Twisted (Paul Gilbert)
One of my favorite musicians left from the 80s, Gilbert's solo stuff has a fun vibe to it that you don't get from the heavier tunes by Racer X or the sappier ballads by Mr. Big ... both of which I totally dig as well.

Turn Around (Jonny Lang)
Awesome comeback album by Lang. Great from start to finish and I say that as one who's not much of a blues fan.

Annie's Song (Me First & The Gimme Gimmes)
Kuff has his quirky picks, this is mine. The Gimmes are to today what Weird Al was to the 80s & 90s.

Fallen World (Altar Boys)
Always with the Altar Boys. Check back in a couple of decades and I suspect they'll still be making these lists.

Every Single One (Geoff Moore)
A more recent tune by Moore and a recent discovery for me.

Loud 'N' Clear (Stryper)
Not my favorite from the early-Stryper era, but obviously not awful enough to be cast from the playlist.

Everlasting God (Chris Tomlin)
Always with the Chris Tomlin. Kudos on his recent Dove awards, also.

Piece Of My Heart (Rough Cutt)
A classic in my book. There may be only one singer who could pull off a Janis Joplin cover and Paul Shortino is/was the one.

All For One (Stryper)
Not my fave from the peak-Stryper era, but obviously not awful enough to be cast from the playlist.

Loving You (Stryper)
See Loud N Clear
