Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) will launch a high-profile effort next week to convince Americans that the Iraq war is winnable, embracing the unpopular conflict with renewed vigor as he attempts to reignite his stalling bid for the presidency.
Wonder if he bothered to check with Grover on this? Kindofa shame ... I was still sorta hoping he'd win the Republican nomination. This oughta be enough to tank his already sinking ship.

McCain sounds like only the first of the Republican candidates to get the message that it's hard to win when most people disagree with you on THE major issue of the campaign. Seems obvious enough to me, but several Republicans apparently need to spend millions to figure it out.
