Bloomberg's Republican Appeal

I'd thought all along that Matt had it right: a Bloomberg, third-party bid would be the end of any hope for a Dem Presidential candidate. Well, maybe not. No telling how that holds up between now and November 2008, but it's certainly encouraging at this point.

Still, what does that say about the Republican Party when someone to the left of Rudy Giuliani pulls Republican votes away from ... well, Rudy Giuliani?

Just to be on the safe side, though, I think I'd rather prefer a two-way race.
