Clinton Derangement Syndrome
Burnt Orange Report: :: Clinton Asks Austin for Cash Over Votes
Matt, my friend, you should probably check the news a bit before posting garbage like this. I fully understand that many on the far left disapprove of Hillary just as strongly as many on the right, of course. It's one of her more endearing qualities.
Queen Sheila's hair getting in the way of a good photo op, however, is a good deal less endearing.

Let's get this straight: You say the fact that a LOT of people hate her, rather than just some people, is one of her more endearing qualities? Isn't that a contradiction in terms?
Hint: Hillary has NO endearing qualities. Anyone who married her would have cheated, not just Bill. No wonder the only time they are together is at an occasional political event!
Notice the qualifications:
"I fully understand that many on the far left disapprove of Hillary just as strongly as many on the right"
That shouldn't be mistaken as many, period ... or in your words "a LOT." By my own words, I qualified that as "some."
But thanks for demonstrating your own case of Clinton Derangement Syndrome, Dale. Just goes to prove my case ;-)
Greg, the whole piece is about Austin, not Texas. The headline alone makes that distinction. It might be garbage in Houston, but it was topical in Austin.
I don't know who I support but I know who I have seen.
Sadly I know nothing about Clinton's campaign other the things I read and the rumors I hear. She hasn't put me on the press list (even though I have requested) and she hasn't done any events in Austin.
Richardson, Edwards, and Obama are informing BOR of what is going on and have done public events in Austin. That's the point made through out the entire piece. Call it trash, but I like it when a campaign actually does public or low donor events that average folks can get to.
I'd like it if everyone decided to kiss my ring, too. But I'd rather make my decision based on matters of policy than personal gratification.
But more substantive to your rebuttal, I'll take issue with this from your post:
It doesn't strike me as a very genuine defense to suddenly suggest that doing a private event in Austin equates somehow with taking Texas for granted.
