Washington Post hires away from AP a reporter who rather famously spins GOP oppresearch into news stories.

Your liberal media at work. Also, it's rather curious how many Solomon-led stories have ended up in the Furl archives of certain local bloggers who accept the talking points as-is. Oh, I'm sure that's just a coincidence, though ;-)

Paul Keil of TPMMuck has some more background info on the new hire. Like Keil, I don't take issue with a major journalistic institution keeping tabs on another powerful institution, even when my own party's in the pole position. But it strikes me that there's a difference between journalism and cutting and pasting the talking points of others ... which is pretty much what Solomon stands accused of.
