I stumbled onto that while searching for Eddie Van Halen's jam on Saturday Night Live while then-wife Valerie Van Halen hosted. No luck on that, but consider this a pleasant surprise. The lineup on this video is something to behold: Jan Hammer on keys, Tony Levin on bass, Mike Portnoy on drums. Oh, and Eddie is his usual level of mid-80s genius on this. Haven't been able to research when or where this was originally from. The haircut and styling of Eddie's playing indicate it's somewhere around 1985-1986, though. Sad that I can delineate Eddie Van Halen's career like that, but such is my life. Making it much easier for me is the inclusion of much of the "Hot for Teacher" solo.
