And we're off ...
Results should be leaking out sooner or later. For now, an appetizer:
"CNN reports corruption was the number most important issue to voters who responded to exit surveys"
Oh the feeling of being right. I'm not one to say I told you so ... wait a minute, that's precisely the type of person I am!!!
SECOND-HELPING: CNN has the details up now ....
The exit polls -- by a consortium of broadcast networks and The Associated Press -- showed that 42 percent of voters called corruption an extremely important issue in their choices at the polls, followed by terrorism at 40 percent, the economy at 39 percent and the war in Iraq at 37 percent.
Looking back at the archives of our local rightwing blogosphere is going to be too much fun this week.
LOCAL FLAVOR: Mike Baselice is quoting his outcome for the Guv race: Perry - 40.5%; Bell 29.6%. By no means an unrealistic call. Perry going over 40% is going to put some heat on down-ballot Dems. Combined with the Kay Bailey whomp of Barbara Ann, it could get interesting all over again for some of the rural Dems among others.
