Canon Rock: The Original
What the heck. It's a lazy Sunday, I'm stuck at work and still digging the various "Canon Rock" videos. I guess what truly amazes me about it is the degree to which this neoclassical noodling has gotten such coverage in the mainstream media, namely CNN and the NY Times. Has Letterman already done a Top 10 based on FunTwo? Anyways, as one who got into playing guitar because of people like Richie Blackmore, Randy Rhoads, Eddie Van Halen, & Yngwie Malmsteen, I thought I'd pay homage to the guy who created the arrangement that FunTwo plays in his video. If there's to be a revival of neoclassical guitar music, I may yet dust off my BC Rich to revel in this marvelous moment in time.
