Houtopia: A Lousy Idea

Houtopia runs through some of the names being dropped for the now-inevitable City of Houston Special Election so I don't have to. He stops on the name of one Nandita Berry and suggests that a husband/wife team on Council as "A Lousy Idea."

I agree.

But one other name on that list strikes me as another lousy idea ... Roy "Red Scare" Morales. Roy ran for City Council after his suspect tenure with the Houston Emergency Center. That alone might be cause for concern about a repeat run on his part. But what really ought to be of greater concern is that, in his quest for electoral success, Morales is currently running for a term on the Harris County School Board.

Them Republicans sure have a funny way of demonstrating commitment ;-)
