Morrison Asks, Greg Delivers
From the comments, Democratic legend Richard Morrison asks:
Greg, I know this is off topic, but have you watched the destruction of Van Taylor by Chris Mattews? I think Chet will certainly win.Fight on!
Richard Morrison
Indeed I have, and I think it's every American's civic duty to watch closely at how vapid the Texas Republican Party has gotten while Van Taylor twists and turns while trying to comprehend the Global War on Terror. That, and just since it's Richard freakin' Morrison, here's you're YouTube for the day ...
As much as I admire Hackett for showing a lot of "Run Everywhere" Democrats how an aggressive campaign is to be conducted, I don't entirely agree with his take. But watching Van Taylor ought to frighten the you-know-what out of you ... because that's pretty much the same mindset operating out of the Bush administration.
I guess that sorta makes my own Iraq policy something like Bill Clinton's Affirmative Action policy ... mend it, don't end it. More on that later, I suppose.
PS ... and I secretly suspect that Richard Morrison watches Survivor now.

Dang. How did Hackett lose? :) I know content matters (which he seemed to have), but that kind of forceful yet reasoned presence is impressive.
You see how inane the current GOP talking points on Iraq are in the hands of the truly inept. (Ever think you'd see someone make Bush look competent?)
I do not watch survivor. I guess I always thougt of reality tv as football, baseball or basketball.
Fight on!
Richard Morrison
Bubb,
At times, I'm almost glad he lost since the DCCC has a way of sterlizing every member of Congress' political views. Let Hackett be Hackett, I say.
Richard,
Amen, brother ... amen!
If you thought he looked bad on Hardball, you should have seen Diana Irey. She appears totally incompetent in terms of public speaking... Well, but then there's our President.
