Sirota & Lieberman (& Gerstein)
Heh ... David Sirota, the left's most self-aggrandizing screed-blogger ... also a rank hypocrite. I guess he supported Lieberman before he was against him? Three links of note here:
1. Out of State, Out of Minds ... in which Dan Gerstein (who's finally showing the voluminous chops as a blogger that I always thought he could be) notes that Sirota applied for two different jobs with Lieberman back in 2003.
2. The Chutzpah & Lies of Joe Lieberman ... in which David Sirota demonstrates neither chutzpah nor lies of Joe Lieberman. What he does show is an inordinate ability to make stuff up out of wholecloth, however. Best part? "I?ve spent my career working for political heroes like Bernie Sanders...." I assume, then, that Sirota sees nothing wrong with Joe running as an independent should he lose the primary?
3. Sirota's Delusion Continues ... in which Gerstein minces Sirota's spin. Best part of it all: "... notice in his post that he does not contest the fact that he has attacked Bill Clinton and Barack Obama for being bad Democrats." That pretty much sums up the problem with Sirota and why he's destined for a brief, short career in politics.

Aimee,
Embrace the inner Joe within you. You know you wanna ;-)
So glad the coffee is still brewing b/c I'm certain I would have spit it all over my laptop.
Don't really have anything to say about Joe but a bad actor from the losing side of a campaign you recently worked on has been telling people that the winner offered them a job early in his campaign but they turned him down. Since said bad actor also spread a rumor that I am a racist, this post is really sticking in my craw.
Don't stoop to this level Greg, no one wins.
Still love you.
Well just to clear up any confusion, then ... Ned Lamont has never once offered me a job, nor have I ever applied for, discussed, or dreamt of working on the campaign.
;-)
