In a sweeping change of policy, the Pentagon has decided that it will treat all detainees in compliance with the minimum standards spelled out in the Geneva conventions, a senior defense official said today.

Wow, this can't be good news for all those who staked out so much ground on the idea that this was tantamount to treason. Ah well, these things happen when you put so much effort into backing an intellectually flawed political party. I'm sure they're used to it by now.
