Centrist Democrats Urge Party Policy With Muscle

Well, it looks like the reading list grew by one. "With All Our Might: A Progressive Strategy for Defeating Jihadism and Defending Liberty" (details here) is the latest effort of Will Marshall over at the Progressive Policy Institute. It's an edited effort on his part and the contributor list includes the likes of Larry Diamond, Mike McCaul, Kenneth Pollack, Daniel Benjamin and a gaggle of others I'm inclined to want to read.

The Post article quotes Will Marshall in another moment that merely affirms why I rank him as highly as I do:

PPI President Will Marshall said that Democrats should embrace internationalism in the tradition of Harry S. Truman and John F. Kennedy. That includes championing freedom and democracy. "We can't abandon [support for] democracy simply because the Bush administration has embraced it or misappropriated it," he said.
