Get Yer Ethics Here ... Plus, City Election Update

Busy day at City Hall. The ethics complaints were heard in regards to the Aiyer/Lovell race as well as Hittner/Clutterbuck.

Jay's complaint against Sue was essentially tabled for the time being as they sought a better definition on what it means to have coordinated between SEIU and Sue Lovell. Well, one bit of evidence might be that hte SEIU has now illegally dropped 7 mailers in the system (4 in the runoff alone) with the tab running $250,000. Sue Lovell has yet to spend one thin dime on mail and she had to have known she wouldn't have to. Simple as that.

Unfortunately, there wasn't a quorum present to hear Anne Clutterbuck's complaint against George Hittner. That one gets deferred. Lotta good there with an election tomorrow, folks.

Hittner, of course, has been benefitting from more far-right handiwork. Most recently, it's been at the hands of Americans for Job Security (bill of particulars here, here, here, here, and here). I think the connection with Rick Santorum rather speaks for itself.

There's also competing Truth Bulletins on the websites of Anne & George. Methinks that since George's is trying to turn around the arguments of "saying one thing here and another there," the heat is up a little bit in Hittnerville.

UPDATE: Oh, predictions ... what the hell:

Lovell/Aiyer ... Close. I'll be at the watch party and I've tipped off the organizers of said event which brand beer I'll need to get me through the night.

    Clutterbuck/Hittner ... Anne gets over 55%.

District B ... Dunno man, not my hood.
