Hum....it didnt mention anything illegal about what they did.
It did violate the spirit of the law, but if Sue had nothing to do with it, then what is illegal about it?
Not that I agree with what has been done.
The story focuses primarily on the angle of SEIU's illegality: making a maximum $10,000 donation and then spending over $120,000 in-kind contribution.
They aren't going to call out Sue in as strong of terms as I will, but if anyone seriously thinks that the Lovell campaign planned a major citywide campaign with ZERO mail and somehow, miraculously DIDN'T know anything about another group doing mail for them, I've got oceanfront property in Nebraska to sell them.
Hummmmm....Good points.
