Calling all Texans

Just a heads up to the Texas Democrats out there, and/or those who care to see some good come to Texas Democrats: There's an important ActBlue poll posted by the site's founders about which states to get involved with in their online fundraising mechanics. Currently, ActBlue allows you to donate to any/all Federal races from one stop online. They've got a bit of setup done for state officials, but they're looking to expand, as this MyDD post explains.

Right now, Texas is in the running for one of the four states that gets the nod for this type of involvement. But if the polling were to end now, we'd be in 5th place ... behind Montana! Montana, as most of you know, already has a majority Dem status in their lege (well, tied in the state house, actually). We've still got ground to make up. So we need your vote on this poll. Be sure to vote for Texas as your first choice. I could care less how you vote otherwise.

Texas Tuesdays is hoping to incorporate this as it takes a lot of the load off of those of us who already have our hands full on other projects and puts this into the hands of competent folk who have already done this before in other states.

Speaking of Texas Tuesdays ... that whole thing gets back in action next week with a new site. Something to look forward to.
