So Far, So Good

9:30 and it's hard to tell there's a hurricane headed here, save for the panicky news reports. We're getting just a slow trickle of wind here in town, a little wind. But Galveston is already getting a hit, with some power outages to boot.

Most of the coastal counties are telling people to wait till Sunday to come back in order for them to take care of debris, power, and such.

Bring it and get it over with, Mother Nature!

SIDENOTE: Apparently Laurence has remained home to ride the storm out. He's about a few miles from me, so we should be seeing much the same stuff.
