Political Wire: Breyer Takes on Conservatives

There's simply no way I can NOT oversell this, but Justice Breyer's forthcoming book - "Active Liberty" - may be the most must-read book on the calendar among progressives (or anyone else for that matter). The due-date on it is 9/13.

EJ Dionne took note of Breyer's speech which serves as the foundation of this book, and the lecture itself is still available online. It serves as an excellent counterweight to the myth of "conservative judges" and offers a compelling, opposing viewpoint that deserves a broader hearing.
