Meeting the Municipals: Brunch-style
My head is still swarming over the three hour, free-wheeling, free-form discussion over all things Houston with the following candidates for City Hall:

Peter Brown (At Large #1)

Brian Cweren (District C)
Sue Lovell (At Large #2)
I'll offer up some coherent thoughts later, but for now, I wanted to thank the candidates and bloggers who made it out to make this event the whopping success that it was. For now, HoustonDemocrats.com has some liveblogging goodness to get the jist of the gig.

Next thing you know you'll elect a Chair. Then a spokesperson. Then regular meetings. Then the dreaded by-laws. Then screenings. Then endorsements. Then newsletters. Then dress codes. Then dues. Then you'll have statewide conventions where the "blogger of the year" will be announced.
