Hot damn ... the Democratic-backed Hochberg Amendment passes in the House 76-67. The amendment triples the homestead exemption, which is the exact opposite direction the state GOP had been trying to steer property tax cuts.
Kudos, Scott ... maybe all that talk for Lt. Gov may actually come in handy after all. If anyone knows where Scott can locate $10 million for a statewide run, let the world know.
