Silver Anniversary for The Miracle

Well, damned if I'm just not going to point back to my favorite redhead blogger once more, as Sheila O'Malley reminds me that today is the 25th Anniversary of the Miracle on Ice victory over the Soviet Union. I've also got the ball rolling for the local recollections over at my little Houston Aeros fan site, Instigator Alley ... yes, we have hockey here in Houston. We also have four championships in the sport. Yeah ... I'm calling you out, Manchester!

Anyways, I'll add my own pithy thoughts later on. I need time to prepare an honorable ode to Neal Broten and his teammates.
