Powering up the ICC

The New York Times > Opinion > Op-Ed Contributor: Court of First Resort

America's hottest policy expert tackles the US decision to prevent war criminals from going on trial at the ICC with a rather well-documented analysis. Well worth noting how the fears that the ICC will be a prosecutor of American servicemen & women are entirely unjustified, a case that Power makes rather plainly. If there's as clear a case of ideology overruling good policy and sound judgement, it's right here. It is just asinine that the administration has no coordination with their own two hands on this issue, and I think Power hits on the complexity of that as well.

Just read the whole thing. I'm too busy having an "Amen" moment right now to comment.
