Young Turks for Privatization
USATODAY.com - Young support private accounts
This only re-confirms one of the points Andrei Cherny makes in his book - "The Next Generation". Point being that those more likely to be adept at sorting and sifting through greater choice options are more likely to be supportive of that which gives them greater control over their own future.
Now, the poll results also put some progressive Dems in a bind. Since one of the few highlights offered from the 2004 results was Kerry's decisive win among 18-29 yr olds. Now, why would we turn our back on that very group when the polls show that, by the tune of 54-42, they support the policy that will likely be designed for them as opposed to the people that hate it (older people)?

Couldn't the legislation couldn't be written to be in effect for those under 35 and some sort of sliding scale for lower income people? Those groups are most hurt by the SS problem.
