Can Blogs Save Business Journalism
Curious if blogs may be something of an antidote to the more commonly feeble business journalism we've gotten to date. Sure, I can foresee a just-as-feeble blog replacing an already-feeble business section, but I've got to think the tendency among blogging types might push business-media bloggers to write more critically than the current form is known to do.
Open question, I suppose since one would presume it would be a business journalist doing the blogging. Does the form make it more difficult to pass off press releases as news, though? Or would the factors that make business journalism as weak as it is eventually creep into business blogs?
