Joe Nixon: Off to the Races

Some silly sitcom of the early 90s I seem to recall ... based out of a fictionalized Texas coastal town. Anyways, the election episode of it depicted the longtime mayor finally getting a challenge from the upstart new guy in town. The oldtime mayor stands up to address the new guy and says words to the effect of "Son, you're gonna make me rev up my political machine, now." He proceeds to reach into his shirt pocket, pull out a button and slap it onto his chest, demonstrating the full power and majesty of his vaunted political machine.

So when I see a site like this, I can't help but flash back to that moment. I'm sure its only temporary, but it's still funny.
