Mayoral Debate Tonight
Just a reminder ... tonight on Channel 8, 7pm ... an unmoderated debate among the three primary candidates. Funny thing is that I saw an ad for it last night and they ran some footage of the first debate Ch. 8 did ... with a big red X over Michael Berry. If only real life were that simple.
In reality, one less candidate in this race really changes things. Berry could have performed incredibly well in a format such as this - at least if one gets past his slumlord background. Now, I think it's a tossup. Will White come across as the only grown-up or condescending? Will Turner come across as too scripted or energetic? Will Sanchez come across as earnest or vaccilating (this on the heels of his latest position on rail) Hopefully, this will be real interesting.
